In this post, I will be taking you through my Airbnb property investment journey so far and we will assess how my Auckland CBD apartment performed with a regular tenancy and then as an Airbnb. Hopefully, I can answer a lot of your question about whether Airbnb is a viable investment strategy by showing you the actual figures for our apartment. With the help of our parents who loaned us the money for the security deposit, me and my brother secured our first investment property aged just 25 and 23 in 2016: a 48m2 one bedroom apartment located in Auckland CBD.
